This month the IPA launches its Guide to Workforce Engagement. You can download the guide for free.
Last year, our members told us that although they wanted employees who were more engaged with their work, they wanted to know more about engagement and how to put it into practice.
That is why we have now published the IPA Guide to Workforce Engagement. Now more than ever, organisations are having to find ways to get more from their workforce in a difficult economic environment. This brief guide draws the best of the research together with the IPA’s experience of helping employers in the public, private and third sectors to improve their performance and productivity through the engagement of their employees.
The IPA has been advising organisations on how to get more from their workforce through greater involvement of their employees for many years. So this guide also sets out how engagement relates to other approaches to involvement and participation. It also features a case study to show engagement in practice.
In conjunction with the publication of the Guide, we are launching two new services for our members and clients:
The first is the
Workforce Engagement Diagnostic. This service is designed to help clients identify the barriers to engagement in their workforce using the IPA diagnostic survey, focus groups and interviews. We then help clients put in place a roadmap to greater engagement tailored to their organisation’s needs.
The second is the
Leadership and Change Management Programme. This training and development service is designed to build leadership and change management capacity throughout an organisation. This brief intervention identifies the organisation’s leadership needs, and delivers tailored training for boards, senior management and line managers to help them lead in an engaging way.
